This position involves driving functional training initiatives for a line of business. The training manager will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing training collateral for the function, building training plans and assessments for certification, coordinating training programs including as appropriate with external faculty and administering training for a line of business. This position will report into the head of the training academy.
o Planning, coordination, monitoring delivery of functional training to new joiners
o Assessment of training needs of a line of business on an ongoing basis
o Developing, updating and owning the functional training collateral of the business
o Training the trainers on mode and content
o Drawing up process specific plans with the team managers for the process specific training in the business
o Capturing training feedback and incorporating this to improve the functional training process
o Drive improvement in training processes for the respective business
o Provide MIS on training effectiveness and extent of training
o Administer functional training as required to the business
Team manager with over 4 years experience in the financial services domain with sound knowledge of domain, products and processes in a line of business. This role requires good content development, training delivery, planning and organizing skills. Experience in developing and managing training program will be a big plus.
