In order to strengthen its non voice BPO services Datamatics Technologies Ltd (DTL) is set to open its BPO unit in Nashik in the next two months. The new facility will have 500 employees who will work as its Knowledge Associates, a term used for employees who cannot devote full time to the company.
According to the company sources, The company is expected to expand its Mumbai facility to over 40,000 sq ft. for the Nashik centre the company is expected to start is recruitment drive. The company is a major provider of BPO and KPO services. It specialises in accounting, claims, payroll, tax services, legal BPO, content management, abstracting and indexing, document and workflow management, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.
The company chose Nashik, since it is fast becoming a cost effective option to more expensive metros like Mumbai and Delhi. The city offers good real estate space and infrastructure. DTL is the third major company after WNS and Tricom to set up its centre in the city.
