PHILIPPINES COMPETES WITH INDIA

Like Gurgaon of India, Metro Manila (Metropolitan Manila) in Philippines hosts the most number of outsourcing call centers. Like Gurgaon of India, Metro Manila also falls on National Capital Region (NCR). It contains city of Manila (it’s a beautiful city, must say, I have been there for couple of times) along with fifteen surrounding cities. Ortigas Center in Pasig City, the Makati Business District, Eastwood City Cyberpark in Quezon City, and Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City. Ortigas City houses names like Asian Development Bank, San Miguel Corporation, HSBC, SM Megamall, Robinson Otrigas etc. Makati City is considered as financial hub, it includes companies like IBM, Procter & Gamble, Ayala Corporation, Citibank, Metrobank, Development Bank of the Philippines, Intel, Nestle, Shell, Syngenta, Convergys, People Support, Pan Pacific Computer Center etc.
