Human Capital Management - Analyst

  • This position supports the HCM Service Operations (Global Team). Responsibilities will include:
  • Human Resource Information System department, role and manager tree maintenance:
  • Responsibilities and accuracy are critical as data feeds the HCM systems that drive our year-round processes (including performance review, promotions and year-end compensation), and from which the firm does budgeting and reporting. Systems include our general Human Resources information system (HRWW), the compensation reconciliation system and performance review systems.
    Ø Ensure HRWW departments reconcile with the divisional cost centres reflected in the firm’s general ledger
    Ø Maintain system manager trees ensuring they reconcile with department organizational structure
    Ø Manage HRWW role assignments ensuring appropriate level of access to the firm’s people data
    Ø Realign HRWW departments, update manager trees and employee department assignments, and reassign roles in response to firm legal entity and general ledger changes
    Ø Update manager trees and employee department assignments, and reassign roles in response to departmental reorganizations, promotions and job changes
    Ø Liaise with global Human Resource Generalists and business line administrators to understand organizational and people changes, and related system maintenance requirements
    Ø Liaise with global Human Resource Generalists, business line manager, Legal and Employee Relations to ensure appropriate role assignment/levels of system access

    Reporting and Metrics :
    Ø Produce monthly activity and headcount reports related to new hires, transfers and terminations. These reports are the bases of all HRG monthly reporting including business leadership updates. Accuracy and use of consistent data is critical

    Performance & MD Reviews :
    Ø Send communications with compliance updates to the senior managers of the division
    Ø Follow up with employees to complete reviews
    Ø Print review books for senior management
    Ø Distribute Analyst review books and download from the firm’s review system
  • MD Selection:
    Ø Co-ordinate materials for distribution for the MD Selection cross-ruffing process

    Career Development Committee :
    Ø Create and update CDC profiles; work on updates with senior managers in various regions

    Communications :
    Ø Liaise with appropriate Human Resource Generalist to understand employee populations targeted for given communications (e.g., compensation, training, performance reviews), and with Exchange Request team to ensure e-mail and voice mail distribution list are properly updated
    Ø Assist with updating and maintaining the HCM sections of the divisional websites

  • Ad hoc projects and reporting :
    Ø eg Provide occasional backup support to our Human Resource Equity Compensation and/or Performance Reviews Hotlines, according to regional and global needs.

  • Experience / Skills / Systems Requirements
  • · Graduate / Post graduate from any discipline
    · Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience
    · Excellent analytical skills
    · Excellent attention to detail
    · Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
    · Excellent project management skills
    · Ability to work in a dynamic environment; experience in working with other regions preferred
    · Strong organizational skills
    · Strong people management and teamwork skills
    · Strong Excel skills required;
    · Knowledge of Access and Business Objects a plus
